Ah, teenagers... I guess it's related to the fact that we never imagine our parents to be hip or hot for that matter... we never saw them in their wonder years, otherwise we would be able to picture them singing those kind of lines! :P
Ah yes, but I bet they'd laugh even harder if dad was singing it! :) My husbands theme song that gets my kiddos mortified is "I'm too sexy" by Right Said Fred. ;)
Funny, my husband laughs when I sing that song too... He also cracked up when I was 9 months pregnant and dancing around singing "If you think I'm sexy..." Perhaps he's trying to tell me something.

You are right. I remember the day when my friend's Mom was singing "If you want my body and you think I'm sexy..." I was so horrified.
