Well, that wood is still sitting there. I haven't been to class for a month now. Why you ask? Because, of snow, snow, winter vacation week and.... snow.
So, my passion to learn woodworking skills is starting to fade.
Maybe next time I will sign-up for a course on-line.

Val - I love scrape booking as well. However, I am not very good at it. So, I use all the materials to make cards and other crafts.
Woodwork sounds interesting. I had to do woodwork in my first year of engineering...we used to have workshop practicals which included welding..woodwork..factory..it was soo exhausting!
Once I brought home a piece of driftwood, thinking I would paint it up all creatively and then put it somewhere as decoration. But inspiration took too long and I ended up just tossing it.
